ESD gives back to MEF at Golfing for Good event

Midtown Educational Foundation was nominated and selected by the ESD (Environmental Systems Design, Inc.) staff as this year’s beneficiary of the ESD Golfing for Good event. The event, initiated in 2011 by Raj Gupta, ESD Executive Chairman, allows people to support a charity by purchasing a raffle ticket or a sponsorship level to win a round of golf at top courses in the area. The event was held on Thursday, May 9th, and members of the MEF staff, ESD community, sponsors and supporters gathered and celebrated that ESD raised over $100,000 to support Midtown Educational Foundation.

This year’s sponsors include: ESD, Raj Gupta, Hatchell, Turner, Admiral, EIP and AP Air Products Equipment Company. For a full list of this year’s sponsors, please click here. Since originating in 2011, the event has raised over $700,000 to support its beneficiaries.

ESD supports MEF through volunteer efforts as well. Four of their employees are full-time volunteers at Metro Achievement Center for Girls: Eileen Madigan, Yvette Anguiano, Beatriz Licona Vallarino, and Rebekah Hardy.
