As school-year 2017-2018 wraps up, MEF would like to spotlight Brian Kahn from Midtown and Devon Anthony from Metro! Thank you to all tutors who make our school year program possible! For April's Tutor Spotlight, please check out last month's article. 

MIDTOWN TUTOR SPOTLIGHT: BRIAN KAHN

Brian currently tutors on Monday nights, but he has been involved with Midtown for many years. His student has grown tremendously both academically and personally. The student’s mother always raves about how her son looks forward to attending program just to talk with Brian. That’s the best compliment a parent can give.

 

METRO TUTOR SPOTLIGHT: DEVON ANTHONY

1. Learning that her student dreamed of going to Florida on the first night of program and being able to bring her a small souvenir and share stories from Florida a few weeks later

2. Meeting her student’s family and spending time with them

3. Asking her student which part of her day she was most excited about, and hearing “seeing you!”
