A Beautiful Day Cog Hill: The 32nd Annual Golf for the Kids Outing
August 12, 2025- Chicago, IL
The 32nd Annual Golf for the Kids Outing teed off Monday at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club, once again drawing supporters together for one of Midtown-Metro’s most anticipated traditions of the year. Hosted by the Midtown Advancement Council, the outing combined spirited competition with community support for Chicago students, raising nearly $240,000 for the students of Midtown and Metro.
For the second year in a row, golfers enjoyed good fortune with the weather: what began as an overcast morning turned into a bright, sunny afternoon. It was especially appreciated by anyone who remembers 2023’s outing, when a severe rainstorm forced play to end early.
Participants enjoyed a variety of on-course games and raffle prizes. While several came close, no one was able to take home the $5,000 Pebble Beach trip by holing out CGI pro Victor or Lexi’s shot on Course 1, Hole 1, or Course 3, Hole 17.
