Walgreens ONE-on-ONE Program (ONE)

The Walgreen's One-on-One program is designed to give young girls the tools they need to be successful students and confident young women. The program combines academic support, character development, individual attention and electives to challenge students to be the best they can be.

Dates:  Sept. 23, 2019 - May 7, 2020   PICK ONE:   Mondays:  5:00-8:00pm (9/23 - 5/4)   OR    Wednesdays:  5:00-8:00pm (9/25 - 5/6)    Cost:  $250 for the entire school year (Generous financial aid available for those who qualify.)

What A Metro School Year Girl Can Expect…

The summer program is three-weeks of hands-on academics, sports, arts electives, innovation, weekly field trips, and fun!

Students attend program daily with interactive core curriculum classes (Math, Science, and English Language Arts), along with leadership and character development activities, creative outlets, sports, and more!

The school year program is a tutoring and mentoring program, meeting once a week on Monday or Wednesday evening, and is filled with electives, academic support, semester field trips, and fun!. 

Students attend program weekly and participate in an elective (dance, DIY, innovation, computer programming, or art), a character education class developing confidence, friendship, and responsibility, and individual tutoring and mentoring. Weekly individual mentoring supports students to become the best version of themselves, personally and academically. 1.5 hours of individual one-on-one tutoring designed to help with skill building, homework completion, test-taking, and more!
