Tuesday, October 29, 2019 is the date of MEF’s 28th Annual Reach for Excellence Awards Dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel, 120 East Delaware Place in Chicago. Honorees are Sally Grimes, Group President of Tyson Foods and Richard G. Scalise, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Hearthside Foods.

Organized by our friends over at the Bucktown Pub, the annual Chili Cookoff is back for the fourth year to raise money to fund Midtown's Christmas Basket Project!

In the days leading up to Christmas, a team of Midtown staff and volunteers stuff and deliver over 325 baskets to families in need of food, clothes and toys at Christmastime. Some are MEF families, but many of the baskets to go other families in need in the communities that MEF serves.
Come by the pub for all you can eat chili, drink specials, raffles and more. Neighboring restaurants and bars compete to make the best chili. The Cookoff is a unique opportunity for local restaurants and businesses in Bucktown to come together for a common good cause!
