Volunteer or Donate to Midtown’s Annual Christmas Basket Project. Each year Midtown partners with local community organizations to help provide Christmas cheer to families in need. Each family receives a Christmas basket that includes food for a nice Christmas dinner as well as toys for the children of the family.
You can help by:
1. Donating a new unwrapped toy or toys (any age up to 16):
Please bring new, unwrapped toys with your student to our program in the coming weeks, to our Midtown Office (1819 N Wood St. Chicago, IL, 60622) by Friday, December 12th
2. Packing Baskets:
Join us to assemble the Christmas baskets with donated toys on Saturday, December 13th, from 6:30 am to 11 am at The Academy of St. Benedict (6020 S Laflin St. Chicago, IL 60636).
Please sign up to help pack baskets here.
3. Delivering Baskets:
Help us deliver the baskets to designated families on Saturday, December 20th from 9 am to 2:30 pm.
Drivers can arrive anytime between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm and can take as many or as little baskets as they can accommodate. Please click here to sign up for basket delivery.
