Volunteer
Looking for a meaningful volunteer experience?
"The opportunity to
have a long-term relationship with a student and to really help that individual work through a number of challenges is quite wonderful."
-Deb DeHaas, Deloitte LLP
Just 2 hours. Once a week.
Since 1965, Midtown and Metro have served thousands of youth & their parents across Chicago.
Over 300 men & women dedicate two hours just once a week to share their talents with Midtown & Metro's boys & girls as tutors & mentors. Midtown and Metro are conveniently located near downtown Chicago, with easy access to public transportation. You can help our Chicago youth stay in school and enter college by volunteering for MEF's award-winning programs.
Be more than a tutor...
be a mentor & role model
Build a unique relationship with the same student each week, providing one-on-one attention for academic & personal growth.
