Metro 4-6th grade girls
Walgreens ONE-on-ONE program (ONE)
The Walgreen's One-on-One program is designed to give young girls the tools they need to be successful students and confident young women. The program combines academic support, with character development, individual attention and an elective (dance, music, art) to challenge students to be the best they can be.
During the school year girls attend Metro once a week for three hours on Monday or Wednesday. They participate in an elective (dance, music, or art), attend a character education class, and receive 1.5 hours of individual one-on-one tutoring designed to help with skill building, test-taking, and more.
The students also participate in goal-setting to help them improve personally and academically.
