Vogler is the Stern Professor of Philosophy at the University of Chicago and Principal Investigator for the Templeton Foundation grant on Virtue, Happiness and the Meaning of Life. The 28-month research project aims to answer two vexing questions:
Why are some people happy, and others not? What makes life good and meaningful?
Jim Palos, MEF Board Member and President of the Hyde Park Institute, a newly established independent research center dedicated to cultivating future generations of ethicists in business, law, medicine and other professions, will introduce Professor Vogler.
