Midtown Center for boys

Midtown is a supplementary education program which promotes the personal and educational development of Chicago inner-city boys from 4th - 12th grades with the collaboration of parents, teachers and volunteers. Midtown programs empower academically middle-range inner-city boys to develop into upright, college-educated men who serve family and community. Our generous sponsors make our high-quality programs affordable, especially for low-income families. You are welcome here at Midtown!

Volunteer

Our volunteers are Chicago area students and businessmen.

Over 150 men dedicate their time once a week to share their talents with Midtown’s inner city boys. While most volunteers serve as tutors and mentors, others help as fine arts teachers, career speakers and field trip chaperones.
